Teachers deserve to have administrators who will fight for them.

Administrators who will stand up against things that only seek to add more to an educators plate while also not taking anything off of their plate.

Administrators who ask upset parents if they’ve spoken with the teacher. Administrators who ask central office if they’ve spoken with the teachers.

Teachers deserve to have administrators who listen. Administrators who make a decision in hard situations. An administrator who says “I’m sorry” when they make a mistake and then they fix their mistake. An administrator who doesn’t play favorites.

Teachers deserve to have an administrator who calls when you’re in the hospital or home sick for more than 3 days. An administrator who serves. An administrator who shows up on time.

Being an administrator is one of the hardest jobs in the world. I know. But teachers deserve the best from us.
